A Culture of Change

As a business analyst in the PMO Office, Jason Ross is currently working on progress and life cycle of the enterprise wide EDRMS project.

EDRMS, or the electronic documents and records management system, is an application which stores all documents in a single accessible location. The management system would serve as a “single source of truth” for staff to access the most current versions of documentation.

Starting at the University in September 1997 as an audio visual technician, he has switched roles frequently over the last 18 years from doing audio visual to supervision and most recently as a business analyst, a role he says, "allows me to share my institutional knowledge while challenging me to recommend the best solutions for my clients”.

Having been on the university grounds for the past eighteen years, Jason recognizes a growing shift in how universities adapt and respond to change “it’s much more of a culture of change than it used to be” and acknowledges “the last five years have seen more change than the first ten”.
