Campus Computing ID (CCID) Authentication services experienced an issue.
All CCID account holders were affected by this outage.
The affected users were not able to log into university services.
Start: 2016/03/02 18:57 – Monitoring systems discovered a problem with CCID Authentication Services
2016/03/02 19:10 – IT support analysts began working on the issue.
2016/03/02 19:15 – IT support analysts restarted the service.
End: 2016/03/02 19:22 – Service was restored.
The CCID authentication service failed and it did not automatically failover to the redundant systems.
Service was restarted.
