ApplyGrad, an application used by graduate students to apply for admission, will be undergoing maintenance.  The affected users, those trying to access applygrad.ualberta.ca, will be unable to access the application.  The service outage is expected to last for up to six hours.

Change change

The Campus Computing Identification (CCID) Toolbox, which allows CCID Administrators to manage CCIDs, will be modified. During the change, the CCID Toolbox may become unavailable. This change is scheduled to last one hour.

Degradation resolution

Start: 2016/11/29 12:00 - IST received reports from users they were unable to change or reset passwords using the MyCCID Portal. IST began investigating.
2016/11/29 12:30 - IST determined the root cause and implemented a resolution restoring service. Monitoring began to see if the issue reoccurred.

Start: 2016/11/23 17:15 - Users began reporting the print service was unavailable in IST Computer UNIX Labs ETLC 5-013 and CCIS L1-150 & L1-207.  Ancillary Services IT Support began investigating.
2016/11/23 17:30 - Ancillary Services IT Support confirmed there was an outage with the legacy ONEcard UNIX Print Server.
2016/11/24 09:30 - Ancillary Services IT Support determined the root cause of the issue.
2016/11/24 09:50 - The print service was restarted to restore service.

Start: 2016/11/20 16:55 - Monitoring systems discovered a problem with multiple systems related to the Mail Forwarding service. IST analysts began investigating.
2016/11/20 17:50 - IST analysts restarted the application servers to restore service. Emails to and from university email accounts may be delayed briefly as a result of this issue.

The SuperN​ET Network services which provides ​network access​ from remote campus sites to North Campus as well as the Internet ​ will undergo maintenance by ​the vendor. The affected users will be unable to access the internet at the following locations during the listed times. Each outage duration is expected to last 2 hours.​ Impacted users include anyone on a remote site during its change window​ or on North Campus attempting to reach the remote site.

The North Campus change window will impact all remote campus sites served by SuperNET.
