Start: 2018/08/25 07:00 – A vendor that manages the Bear Tracks application reported that it was unavailable or running slow due to a power outage on site. Vendor and support teams began investigating further.
2018/08/25 10:00 - Faulty hardware was detected within the system. Engineers began working on replacing it.

Start: 2018/08/21 11:00 – IST began investigating reports of a Google Groups degradation where messages were not being delivered.
End2018/08/21 11:55 - IST resolved the Google Groups issue. Any emails that were sent to a Google Group and weren't immediately sent were queued and Google will be sending any delayed emails to the Google Group.

2018/08/20 09:05 - Investigation determined a server node experienced an issue which caused the outage for some users.

IST managed classroom podium computers located at the Edmonton Clinic Health Academy (ECHA) will be converted to VMware virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) technology.  
 
Classroom podium computers to be transitioned will not function until the conversion process has completed and functionality restored to each computer.   Workstations will return to service throughout the 8 hour change window.  . Start: 2018/07/25 09:40 - IST received reports of a power outage which affected Enterprise Square and the surrounding area. EPCOR began investigating.
2018/07/25 10:50 - Enterprise Square security teams began evacuating the building as EPCOR had advised advised power restoration was estimated to be around 16:00 today.
End: 2018/07/25 11:25 - Power was restored to Enterprise Square by EPCOR. Service has been restored. If you are still experiencing difficulty with this IT service, please contact IST at 780-492-9400.

Start: 2018/07/23 11:45 - Monitoring systems began alerting a large number of IT devices became unavailable affecting a number of IT services.  IST began investigating.
2018/07/23 11:50 - Investigation determined a network device experienced a issue and network traffic failed over to an alternate network device to restore connectivity.
End: 2018/07/23 11:55 - Affected IT services are currently being verified.
