IST has begun work on the Wireless Evergreening Project to replace end of life wireless access points throughout various buildings on North Campus.

IST has begun work on the Wireless Evergreening Project to replace end-of-life wireless access points throughout various buildings on North Campus. Beginning February 12th, work will continue until June 30th, and will cause little to no disruption as workers switch out the wireless devices. For more information on how these changes will affect you, including a schedule to determine when work will be conducted in your building, please refer to the FAQ below.

How does it affect me?

The replacement of wireless access points should take less than 15 minutes to swap out, but may result in a few moments of lost connectivity to UWS, Guest@UofA, and Eduroam networks. The replacements will not affect any wired connections.
