Microsoft has ended support for older versions of Internet Explorer. Starting January 12, 2016, older versions of Internet Explorer will no longer receive technical support and security updates. Technical support and security updates will only be available for Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 and Internet Explorer 9 on Windows Vista.
In order to mitigate the risks associated with continuing to run older versions of Internet Explorer, system owners and IT support providers should upgrade affected systems to a supported browser version. You can check which version of Internet Explorer you are running by visiting Microsoft’s website.
Internet Explorer 11, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and other modern web browsers are available for continued internet web browsing. Supported web browsers will continue to work with core campus applications including Peoplesoft, Bear Tracks, and Google Apps.
