Chad Healey, a Deskside Support Analyst and member of one of AICT’s Deskside Support teams, provides IT support to AICT, University Relations and the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research. His main duties are to resolve incidents and service requests for these clients. Chad is looking forward, as well, to participating in the “discovery” of the School of Business by getting to know its people and what their IT resources and requirements are.
Chad received a degree in Physics from Memorial University in 2008. As a student at Memorial, he also had worked on the University’s central IT service desk, providing front-line IT support to students, faculty and staff. After he graduated, Chad continued to work on the IT service desk as secondary support and student supervisor. Chad also was working towards a GIS (Geographical Information Systems) diploma before he moved to Edmonton and now is looking at completing that diploma online.
With his University background and his experience as an IT facilitator, Chad is well positioned to help AICT provide the best IT service it can across the University community.
