OUTAGE RESOLUTION: GSB Labs 866 and 217 – 2014/03/10

What happened?
Two computer labs in General Services Building (GSB 866 and GSB 217) were unable to load Windows.

Who was affected?
Users of these labs who needed to start or reboot their computers were affected by this outage.

What was the impact?
The affected users were unable to load Windows when they started or rebooted their computers. Computers that had not been shut down were not affected.

What was the timeline of the incident?
Start: 2014/03/10 14:50 – Users reported an issue with GSB lab computers.
2014/03/10 14:55 – IT support analysts began working on the issue.
End: 2014/03/10 15:20 – Service was restored.
